Alternative Printing Methods

ADDITIONAL PRINTING METHODS

In addition to our standard printing method of digital printing, we also offer a lot of other options if you’re looking to make your invitation even more special! Pricing for these methods varies quite a bit, depending on method, quantity and size, so please send us an email or chat with us for all the details!

Letterpress

(shown in our gold ink)

Letterpress printing is when the design is pressed down into the paper using a hard plate. A roller is rolled over the die plate and the plate is then pressed hard (with lots of force!) into the paper, creating a deep, rich impression. Choose from 1 or 2 colors.

Available in the following colors:

Marigold | Mango | Coral | Red | Pink | Hot Pink | Violette | Lavender | Sky Blue | Navy | Light Blue | Aqua | Teal | Sage | Olive | Emerald | Hunter Green | Green | Gray | Dark Gray | Claret | Gold | Copper | Silver | Black

Hot Foil Stamping

(shown here in our glitter gold foil)

Hot foil stamping is similar to letterpress, only using a roll of foil and hot plate, rather than ink. This creates a luxurious (and flashy!) impression.

Available in the following colors:

Gold | Rose Gold | Silver | Black Matte | Royal Blue | White | Silver Glitter | Gold Glitter | Copper | Red | Pink | Wine | Violet | Blue | Teal | Hunter | Sage | Ecru Matte

Thermography

(shown here in our gold thermography)

Thermography is a method in which a resin covers the wet ink of the design and exposed to heat. When this happens, the ink an resin fuse together, creating a hard, raised design.

Available in the following colors:

Marigold | Mango | Coral | Red | Pink | Hot Pink | Violette | Lavender | Sky Blue | Navy | Light Blue | Aqua | Teal | Sage | Olive | Emerald | Hunter Green | Green | Gray | Dark Gray | Claret | Gold | Copper | Silver | Black

White Ink Printing

(shown in white ink on black paper)

White ink printing uses a special laser printer with special toner to transfer white images onto dark papers. While available on any color paper, it’s stunning against black, navy blue, or any dark color.

Acrylic Printing

(shown in white)

Acrylic printing is when a special ink is fused to an acrylic sheet, 1/8″ thick. Previously only available in white, we are now able to print in full color!

Embossing or Debossing

(embossing shown here)

Embossing is the use of a copper plate die, being pressed UP FROM THE BACK of the paper, creating a raised impression. Debossing is the use of that same plate, but being pushed DOWN FROM THE FRONT of the paper, creating a deep impression.
